Are you looking for a small campsite with lots of shade? In the Alps, in the southeast of France, you will find the wooded campsite St-James-les-Pins. The town of Guillestre is two kilometers away. This region is ideal for sporty … campers. The campsite has a natural swimming pond. There is also a public swimming pool 300 meters from the campsite. Plenty of shaded pitches The pitches are naturally laid out. Therefore, expect pitches of different sizes. There are about a hundred marked out pitches in the shade of pine trees. The campsite is two and a half hectares and has several mobile homes and bungalows. There is also a group chalet for up to nineteen people. Campsite for cycling enthusiasts The natural surroundings alone are worth booking a pitch here. The campsite is also suitable for cycling fans, especially because of the various mountain passes of the Tour de France. Think of the Col du Galibier, the Col d'Izoard or the Col de la Croix de Fer. Motorcyclists, anglers and mountain bikers will also get their money's worth here. Surprisingly good restaurant Do you want to camp at this campsite? Then don't forget to go to the restaurant. Take a seat on the small terrace and indulge your taste buds. The food in this small restaurant is excellent. For your own shopping you will have to go to the stores in Guillestre. The sanitary facilities of the campsite are good. They are even heated. This is especially pleasant if you stay in St-James-les-Pins in a colder season.
